苹果降脂汤 Apple Slimming Soup
材料:苹果4个,腰果1杯(洗净), 白背木耳3大朵,陈皮1块,红枣18粒,水12杯
Ingredients: 4 apples, 1 cup cashew nuts (rinsed), 3 big clusters white wood ears, 1 quarter of dried tangerine peel, 18 red dates, 12 cups water
调味料:盐1茶匙
Seasoning: 1 tsp salt
做法:
1. 苹果洗净,一开为二,去核备用。
2. 白背木耳用水浸透,陈皮浸软,刮去瓤。
3. 红枣洗净,略拍,去核。
4. 烧滚水,下全部材料以猛火煲10分钟,该慢火煲2小时,下盐调味即可饮用。
Method:
1. Rinse the apples and cut them into halves. Core and set aside.
2. Soak wood ear in water till soft. Soak dried tangerine peel in water till soft, remove the pith.
3. Rinse the red dates. Crush lightly with the flat of a knife. Remove the stones.
4. Boil water and put in all ingredients. Boil over high heat for 10 minutes. Then switch to low heat and simmer for 2 hours. Season with salt and serve.

营养专家推崇17种食物

1、柿子:预防心脏病的水果之王
水果能预防心脏病,尤以柿子为最。西方谚语说:一日一苹果,不用看医生。不过,要讲到预防心脏血管硬化,那苹果就得在柿子面前 “ 甘拜下风 ” 了。据测定,柿子含有大量纤维、矿物质和石炭酸 (一种抗氧化剂),这些都是阻止动脉硬化的要素。柿子的纤维含量比苹果多 1 倍;石炭酸和钾、镁、钙、铁、锰等元素的含量均比苹果高许多;只有铜、锌含量略低于苹果。因此,中老年人适度多吃点柿子,于心脏大有裨益。
2、番茄:生吃抗血栓
番茄抗血栓的作用显著,对于预防脑梗死和心肌梗死等疾病有很高的价值。为了最大限度地发挥番茄的这一作用,当以生吃最佳。营养学家建议,可坚持每天 吃 1 个番茄;若饮用番茄汁,一天最好不要超过 250 毫升,而且尽量不放盐。每天晨起正值体内水分不足之际,血液较易凝结,这时正是生吃番茄或饮用番茄汁的最佳时机。中老年人特别是心、脑血管疾病患者,千万 不要错过。
3、骨汤:常喝延缓衰老
随着年龄的增长,人体骨髓制造血细胞的功能逐渐衰退,此时人们就需要从食物中摄取类粘朊,来增强骨髓制造血细胞的能力。而蕴藏有类粘朊的食物当推动 物的骨头。以猪骨头为例,将其砸碎,按 1 份骨头 5 份水的比例,用小火炖煮 1 ~ 2 小时,尽量让含有类粘朊和骨胶原的髓液溶解,在骨汤中加入蔬菜食用。只要持之以恒,便可延缓人的衰老速度。
4、橙子:预防女性胆囊炎

5、啤酒:预防白内障
最近,加拿大科学家提出,啤酒可预防白内障。啤酒的这一功效主要得益于啤酒中的抗氧化物质,这种抗氧化物质可以保护细胞线粒体,而线粒体能将葡萄糖 转化为能量,这种转化在白内障的发病过程中起了关键作用。当然,也不能以预防眼病为借口而滥饮啤酒,因为啤酒也是酒,多饮会损害肝、脑等器官,导致严重后 果。
6、葡萄酒:防治胃病的 “ 灵丹 ”美国旧金山一家医院的研究人员称,葡萄酒的杀菌能力相当强,可杀死引起胃病的幽门螺旋杆菌。研究人员将幽门螺旋杆菌置于葡萄酒中,发现 20 分钟内细菌并没有繁殖。专家对此的解释是:葡萄酒在酿制过程中产生了一种被称为多酚的物质,正是这种物质起到了杀菌的作用。
7、黑木耳:防止尿道结石症
尿道结石症患者,若能坚持每天吃黑木耳,疼痛感可很快消失, 10 ~ 14 天后结石会变小甚至排出,这是医生的临床新发现。其中的奥妙在于黑木耳中的发酵素与植物碱,可刺激腺体分泌,湿润管道,促进石头排出;同时木耳中含有的矿 物质可与结石中的化学成分发生反应,剥蚀结石,使石头变小,从而加快结石排出体外的速度。
8、樱桃:预防关节炎
美国研究人员观察到,经常吃樱桃或饮用樱桃果汁,可预防关节炎和痛风。已患关节炎的病人食用樱桃,有助于患病关节的消肿,从而减轻疼痛。研究人员解 释说,樱桃中含有的某些物质,在防治关节炎和痛风等炎症方面的效果胜过阿司匹林,每天吃 20 个樱桃,就能抑制关节炎和痛风引起的疼痛。
9、草莓:医治失眠的最佳水果

新西兰的科学家利用实验鼠,对大蒜的防癌机制与剂量作了研究,确认大蒜的防癌功效来自所含的二硫化二烯丙基,这种物质可产生清除致癌物的酶,进而保 护肠道,使人免受癌症之苦。半瓣大蒜所含的二硫化二烯丙基就已足够预防癌症,因此,只须坚持每天吃瓣半生大蒜就可以有效地预防肠癌。
